In accordance with the Public Trust Office Act 1975, our core/primary functions are as follows:
i. Administration of estates of deceased people;
ii. Provision of trustee functions including the management of affairs of infants and people of unsound mind, etc.;
iii. Provision of a will making service;
iv. Proper management of estate and trust funds.
The Office is currently structured into two Divisions. They are the Estates and Trusts; and Finance and Investment Divisions. These two Divisions comprise of several sections as laid out in its organisational structure.
The Estates and Trusts Division deals with estate administration and trust management. The Finance and Investment Division comprises of the Accounts Section; Loans Recovery; and Corporate Services.
